Redential helps users create capability profiles based on real software work, project activity, repository signals, submitted evidence, and verification workflows.

Because of the nature of the Service, we may process both private account information and public capability information.

we do not intentionally make your email address public unless you choose to publish it;
we do not intentionally make your private personal data public unless you choose to publish it;
we do not intentionally make your private repositories public;
we do not intentionally publish your private repository code, private repository files, or private repository URLs;
we may publicly display your skills, capabilities, verification labels, badges, proof summaries, public profile information, and other information you choose to publish;
we may use repository metadata and project activity to generate private or public capability summaries depending on your settings and use of the Service.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information in several ways.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

You may provide information when you:

create an account;
complete your profile;
connect a third-party account;
submit a project;
complete a proof update;
publish a capability profile;

Public information may be indexed by search engines, copied by third parties, screenshotted, archived, embedded, or shared outside the Service.

You should not publish information that you do not want others to see.

5. PRIVATE INFORMATION

We do not intentionally make the following information public unless you choose to publish it:

billing information;
payment details;
private account settings;
private repository URLs;
private repository contents;
private code files;
private commit contents;
private file contents;
private integration tokens;
private support messages;
private personal data;
non-public authentication information.

However, private information may be processed internally to provide the Service, including to generate capability summaries, verify proof updates, prevent abuse, secure the Service, or comply with law.

6. SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES

Redential may display skills, capabilities, badges, categories, labels, and profile summaries publicly if you publish your profile.

This may include:

skills detected from your work;
skills verified through proof updates;
skills you self-declare;
confidence levels;
proof completion status;
capability categories;
AI-generated summaries;
activity-based profile information.

By using public profile features, you understand that your capabilities and skill signals may be visible publicly, even though your email address, private repositories, private code, and private personal data are not intentionally made public.

7. REPOSITORY PRIVACY

If you connect a private repository, we may process repository information according to the permissions you grant.

We do not intentionally publish:

private repository code;
private repository files;
private repository URLs;
private repository contents;
private repository names, where product settings or privacy settings treat them as private;
private commit contents;
private branches;
private pull request contents.

We may publish or display:

general capability labels inferred from repository work;
high-level summaries;
verification status;
proof results;
non-sensitive skill categories;
public links you choose to share.

You should not connect repositories that contain information you are not allowed to share or process through Redential.

8. AI PROCESSING

The Service may use AI systems to analyze information, including repository metadata, submitted work, project descriptions, code snippets, proof submissions, public profile information, and user activity.

AI systems may be used to:

detect capabilities;
summarize projects;
recommend proof updates;
evaluate proof submissions;
generate profile descriptions;
classify skills;
provide feedback;
detect abuse;
improve product quality.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should review outputs before publishing or relying on them.

We may use third-party AI providers to process information. Where we use such providers, we take steps designed to limit their use of information according to our agreements with them and applicable law.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential, regulated, or highly private information unless you have the right to do so and are comfortable with it being processed by the Service.

9. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

If we do, we will not intentionally disclose your private email address, private repository code, or private personal data without appropriate notice, permission, or a lawful basis.

Public profile information that you choose to publish may be viewed by others, including companies, recruiters, collaborators, or the public.

11. DATA RETENTION

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, operate our business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information.

You are responsible for making sure that any repository, code, project, document, or other material you submit or connect may legally be processed by Redential.

Do not submit employer code, client code, proprietary information, confidential documents, trade secrets, or restricted information unless you have permission.

We are not responsible for your violation of employment agreements, NDAs, client agreements, repository permissions, platform terms, or confidentiality duties.

22. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing or selling of personal information.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense.
